oh my gosh! i saw this on tv too and i laughed SO hard. not only is it an invention because people just can't get their hair high enough, just they also love having a big plastic thing stuck in their hair all day. my favorite is the special with the extra high one.
Sooo, now would probably not be the best time to tell you I ordered a set of seven? ;)
P.s. I know you have this Utah thing going on lately ... ;) So I *had* to go look ... The Bumpit company is founded and based in Conneticut!! It has *nothing* to do with Utah and Idaho!!! :)
I totally saw this awesome infomercial on TV. I'm too cheap so I just use our bird cage when I want to get some extra volume. You just stick the bird cage on the top of your head and comb your hair over it and you have an amazing poof. Also, you get to hear the birds chirping their happy songs all day long. People wonder where the noise is coming from, but I just play like I have no idea. You can totally try that one if you want. You have my permission.... I am so weird...
that is hysterical. I HAVE actually seen it on some late night informercials. Hair implants! Seriously, what will they think of next. I'm sure whoever it was in Connecticut that invented the Bump-it was totally Mormon and orginated from Utah. No one down here does anything like that. You need to hurry up and get down here soon Cami, I think all the hairspray and rat's nests are finally getting to you. Poor thing! Hurry home honey! Hurry Home!
Hey Cami! Thanks for making a comment on our blog. I'm glad that you found me so we can stay in touch. It sounds like you have been through a lot trying to get a baby here this year. I am sorry for the trials you have been going through. There is infertility in my family, and I know it's not easy. You are a trooper though, always remaining positive and faithful. Keep us posted on the fertility stuff, we will be thinking of you and hoping all goes well. Good Luck!!
Cami, they have been showing this commercial down here in Texas and everytime I see it I think that this had to have been invented by a Utah girl. Nobody looks like that down here! Only a Utah girl.
Oh my gosh, I just saw that commercial a couple days ago for the first time and I couldn't believe it! It's just ridiculus and every hairdo looked awful!

So that's how they all do it. Makes more sense now. I was never sure how girls managed to get their hair so high. Just "bump it up". LOL
