I am trying to plan our 2nd anniversary trip on Labor day weekend (about a 5 day trip) to somewhere COOL!
Here are my top 4 choices
-San Diego
-San Fransisco
-Washington DC (I have been here when my Bro Tyler was a white house intern but Geoff never has and he is a history junkie and would LOVE it I am sure)
-Orlando
I need some help!! Geoff is the most easy going guy and would be happy anywhere we go as long as there is good food. Ha ha.
I have found some awesome deals on vacation packages in all of these areas that are totally affordable. So if you have been to any of these places and think it would make for a good trip... please let me know!

Hmm... I haven't been to Cali recently enough to say much about it. In Orlando, I pretty much just did the whole Disneyworld thing. DC is awesome.
Maybe you should choose the one that would be harder to do later (either because of money, distance, kids, etc.).
Orlando: is amazing. And there is stuff to do all over the place ... which will cost more money, but you can just chill at the beach too. Could do the Disney World thing ... There is so much to do there.
San Diego: I love San Diego. Again, chill at the beach ... Go to the Zoo. If I remember correctly they have this adorable little amusement park near the beach and great shopping. Plus, it's only like a two hour drive (depening on traffic) to DISNEYLAND!
San Fran: I am going there in 21 days. :) I will give you a report when I get back.
DC: I am going there in July. Too late I am sure to give you a report. :)
OOOH, hard to choose. My vote would be DC. Especially if Geoff would love it! If you do go, try getting Razor scooters to ride around on there. A friend did that, and they had a blast going from one thing to another!
Oooh tough choices!! San Diego is beautiful as always....we went to San Francisco and LOVED it (Mainly for the sea food though which I know you can't have), I've never been to Orlando so no help there, but I pick Washington DC!! There would be so much cool historical stuff to go see!!!
Shaun and I have been to Orlando to visit his brother and we drove east towards Cocoa Beach (his brother lives about 20 minutes from the beach). It seemed like a really fun place to chill and not too crowded either.
I know Kristin and Kari went to San Diego a few months ago and are going again soon to Disneyland...you can't ever go wrong with California.
If you go up to San Francisco you could drive out to Sacramento and Lake Tahoe area and stay with Kari and Kristin for free....hahha, like how I volunteering them? There are so many fun things to do there. You would have blast!
We live in DC so if you head out this way you could stay with us for free. he he! Good Luck choosing and Happy Anniversary soon. :)
I vote san fran, but dc for geoff would be cool. awwwww.... dc. you and me. love.
Girlfriend go to San Diego and show off that skinny bod in your swimsuit!
Wow, I wish I could be the one making that decision. I wouldn't know where to go. Keith and I went on a temple tour of Cali's temples last year. It was so much fun we went to four temples in 2 days. We loved staying in San Diego and going to beach.
I know that Geoff would love D.C. I spent a year there as a kid and my mom took us every weekend to do all the D.C. suff. It would be real neat to go there.
You have picked out such great places. Wish you the best of luck in chosing where to go.
Let us know how it all goes!
Well I haven't been to any of those places, but the one that sticks out to me is San Francisco- only because we're trying to plan out Scott's family reunion for 2010 and I really want to go to Napa Valley which is only an hour from San Fran. I actually can't remember everything I wanted to do there but I do remember the vineyards. I think they're so pretty and would love to visit one! haha. I know. Pathetic. I'm sure you'll have a great time wherever you go! =D
