100 lbs mark

Just a week ago, I hit the 100 lb weight loss mark from my heaviest weight 5 years ago. I tipped the scales at just over 250 lbs. Took me about a year to get about 75 lbs off and then my body just stopped losing weight no matter how healthy I ate and how hard I worked out. Just about six months ago or so I cut almost all starches and sugar from my diet and continued to eat a low calorie, low fat diet, increased my running to about 6-7 miles a day, weight train 3 times a week and I have finally lost the last 25 lbs and hit my 100 lb weight loss mark. Man, does it feel great to know that I lost a whole PERSON of fat from my body! Needless to say, for Christmas I am getting lots of new clothes (: Here's to a happy and healthier new year!

I think this is the absolute BEST POST I have ever seen on blogger!! For someone like myself, who also struggles with weight, I can honestly tell you from the bottom of my heart how incredible you are for reaching this goal. Congratulations, Cami. What an AMAZING accomplishment. And you are so humble about it too. You failed to mention how gorgeous you are!!! You have a lot to be proud of. I wish I could have an ounce of your discipline. I am struggling to lose 10 pounds, and you have lost 100!! I would love to hear more in depth how you did this. Maybe on your healthy living blog you can give examples of what you eat on an average day, or something like that. I honestly am totally amazed. So impressed, and jealous!!!:) Enjoy all your new fab clothes, you deserve them and more!

Seriously beautiful!!! (not that you weren't before, of course) I am getting excited to have our little girl so I can jump back on the exercise wagon (which has been slightly derailed due to some hip troubles) and get back down to where I really want to be. I am committed to it NOT taking me 9 months this time around to hit my pre-pregnancy weight.

And by the way, what a GREAT reason to need new clothes!!! Happy day:)

Wow. You're amazing. I've never had very much gumph to lose weight -- though I once tipped the scales at 180 (which for a 5'2" girl is pretty big) it wasn't until I married Ryan that I lost weight to a size that I like. I guess Ryan became my comfort food. I am very impressed! Good job. I want to follow your healthy food recipes blog... what's the address?
